CONTRACTORS

Fforest Timber Engineering Ltd employ our own structural engineer, contracts managers and carpenters who are all experienced with the design and installation of timber frame.  Our company has worked on many different kinds of project.  As well as housing our skilled teams have been involved in the design and construction of timber frame schools, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes and blocks of flats.

All of our on-site carpentry teams have the relevant HSE Training.  They all have CSCS cards as a minimum requirement.  Two of our most senior carpenters have qualified as Site Safety Supervisors and have been mentioned and achieved an award for health and safety on site with one of the largest building contractors in the country who stated:-

When erecting our timber frame kits Fforest Timber Engineering Ltd can provide (if required) on site safety fall arrest system.  We can arrange craneage with banksmen, slingers and riggers who are trained in the safe use of cranes on site.  Some of our carpenters are also qualified telehandler drivers and all of our on-site carpenters and labourers are trained in the safe use of nail guns
