EASI JOISTS® FLAT ROOF

Easi Joists are parallel chord trusses utilising stress graded timber chords “on Flat” or “on Edge”.  These chords are plated together with a precision engineered and manufactured structural component called metal web, these when combined form the Easi-Joists®.

This extension to a veterinary practice in North Cheam in Surrey  required a flat roof approximately 130 metres square. The large clear spans meant Easi-Joists were ideally suited to the task, even with the additional heavy loads of several air conditioning units over the new surgery prep area. The open metal web construction of the joists provides easy passage for pipes, cabling and other services, and their light weight also helps with safe handling and installation on site.

"Great job guys, joist arrived on site at about 9 am, offloaded by 9:45, installation starts at 10:30, finished by 15:00"
